Dr. Jonah B. Wise, chairman of the Joint Distribution Committee National Fund-Raising Committee, will sound the keynote in a strong appeal to be made to the Los Angeles Jewish community in May for funds with which to continue the Joint Distribution Committee’s overseas relief work. The campaign will also include the appeal for the support of the program of the Jewish Agency for Palestine.
Walter Hilborn, of Beverly Hills, will head the campaign committee which will conduct the appeal for the Joint Distribution Committee and the Palestine fund. Ralph G. Wolff will be chairman of the initial gifts committee.
