At the annual meeting of the American Association of Professional Schools of Social Work Dr. Maurice J. Karpf, Director of the Graduate School for Jewish Social Work in New York City, was reelected President.
This association includes the foremost schools of social work in the United States and Canada, most of them being connected with Universities. Of the almost thirty schools which are members of the Association only three are non-University schools, these being: The Graduate School for Jewish Social Work; The New York School of Social Work; and The Pennsylvania School for Social and Health Work.
The Graduate School for Jewish Social Work was organized in 1925 and was admitted to the Association in 1928. Dr. Karpf was first elected President in 1931.
