Dr. Leib H. Szold, once a prominent Zionist leader in Lithuania, arrived in Israel today from the USSR where he had been in prison for many years for having engaged in Zionist activities in Lithuania. Dr. Szold, one of the few surviving Jews of Lithuania, was released by the Russians on the grounds that he was a “political invalid.”
