Dr. Max Weinreich, philologist and general secretary of the Yiddish Scientific Institute of Vilna arrived in New York on the steamer Berengaria Wednesday morning. He was met by representatives of the American section of the institute and by a number of Jewish writers.
Dr. Weinreich will lecture at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, where he was invited by Prof. Blondheim.
