Dr. Michael Bruckman, 40, a practising physician at the local hospital in Donetzk, USSR, was badly beaten in an anti-Semitic incident a week ago as he was returning from hospital rounds late at night, according to AI Tidom Association sources. As he was beaten, the assailants shouted, “Jew, get out of Russia and stop stealing our bread.” AI Tidom reports increased anti-Semitic activities in the streets, schools and at work in Donetzk.
