Dr. Moses Behrend was today elected president of the Pennsylvania Medical Society at its third annual convention. Dr. Behrend is past president of the Philadelphia County Medical Society and is the author of several books and a considerable number of scientific treatises. Fifty-six years old, Dr. Behrend was a pioneer in opposing socialized medicine and prohibition. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and is now identified with many Jewish institutions.
