Dr. Moshe Tov, head of the Latin American desk in the Israel Foreign Ministry, will become Israel Ambassador to Mexico, assuming his post about April 1, it was reported here today.
Dr. Tov, a veteran of service in Latin America, will succeed Ambassador David Shaltiel, a general with service in Israel’s War of Liberation who in recent years has represented Israel in a number of Latin American capitals.
