Dr. S. Herman Lippitt, forty-eight, director of the Mount Sinai Hospital dispensary, died here of a heart attack. Dr. Lippitt was on the Mount Sinai staff fifteen years and the Johnston Emergency hospital eight years. He was medical adviser to the Jewish Home for the Aged and the Jewish Center.
Since 1919 he taught at the Marquette University school of medicine as assistant professor of pediatrics. He was a member of many medical associations and member of the local executive committee of the National Conference of Jews and Christians.
Adolphe Abraham enlisted in the French army at eighteen, in 1832 and rose to the rank of colonel after an active career.
