Albert B. Sabin, discoverer of the oral polio vaccine, was welcomed by thousands of Brazilian children when he landed at the airport here yesterday for a brief stopover on a Latin American tour. Dr. Sabin, president of the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovoth, left for Buenos Aires this morning. While in Sao Paulo he was received by civic and health authorities and local Jewish leaders. He was made a fellow of science at the Albert Einstein Hospital here.
