Funeral services will be held here tomorrow at Mount Neboh Temple for Dr. Samuel M. Segal, rabbi of that congregation since 1939, who died yesterday. He was 54. Dr. Segal, a Reform rabbi, received two doctorates from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. He also held a degree of doctor of philosophy from New York University. He was also an author and a playwright. Among his books are: “Biblogues,” “Elijah,” a Study in Jewish Folklore, and “The Sabbath Book.”
