Dr. Selig Brodetsky, who arrived here today, received the press and discussed the Zionist attitude toward current Palestine problems. He associated himself with Dr. Arlosoroff’s statements as expressed in a recent press conference at Jerusalem, in which the latter denied that the High Commissioner before his departure for Geneva had received an assurance from the Jewish Agency that they would not oppose the scheme for a Legislative Council, and that the withholding of their opposition was in exchange of certain practical concessions on the part of the Palestine government, such as an increased number of certificates.
Dr. Brodetsky, who is to participate on Sunday in a meeting of the Zionist Council, is to spend a few days in Poland in connection with the campaign for the Keren Hayesod.
The protest meeting of the Intercollegiate Menorah Society, at City College, against the Polish riots, previously announced for today, has been postponed for Thursday, December 29th. The time and speakers will be announced later.
