The Jewish Welfare Fund of Baltimore, at its final report meeting, announced that it had raised a total of $2,300,000. Its original goal was $1,500,000. This amount was over-subscribed at the first report meeting. The goal was then increased to $2,000,000. Final results totalled $2,300,000. This compares with $622,000 raised by Baltimore in its last Welfare Fund campaign. Sidney Lansburgh is president of the Fund and Harry Greenstein is executive director.
