Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, arrived here today from Europe. He is expected to be the chief Jewish witness before the Royal Commission.
Dr. Weizmann was accompanied by Leonard Stein, honorary counsel to the Jewish Agency, and Berl Katzenelson, editor of Davar, Hebrew laborite daily. Also with the party were David Ben-Gurion, chairman of the Agency’s Jerusalem executive, and Moshe Shertok, head of the Agency’s political department, who met the ship at Alexandria.
