Dr. Chaim Weizmann was entertained at lunch yesterday by Senator William E. Borah, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. An extended conversation took place regarding the Zionist movement.
Senator Borah manifested the deepest interest in Dr. Weizmann’s description of the Zionist situation and indicated his intention of making a serious study of the entire subject. This occasion was understood to be of great importance in view of Senator Borah’s highly influential position in general and in the field of foreign relations in particular.
