Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, who has been ill and confined to bed for the past week, is recovering, the J.T.A. learned today. His physician, however, has ordered the cancellation of all speaking engagements for the next few weeks.
The Jewish Telegraphic Agency understands that a number of important meetings and conferences both here and in Washington in which Dr. Weizmann was to participate, had to be called off as a result of his indisposition.
