President Weizmann’s condition was reported today “slightly improved” but that he nevertheless continues to lose strength.
Last night the President conversed with relatives who visited him. He spent a restful night. The doctor’s bulletin issued this morning said that after a quiet night the President felt better, but that there was no change in his general condition.
Reports from London, Johannesburg and other world capitals state that the chief rabbis there have called on all synagogues to offer special prayers for Dr. Weizmann’s recovery. Policemen on duty at the President’s home in Rehovot daily turn away many visitors who come to express their good wishes.
