Dr. Stephen S. Wise has been elected a member of the Executive Committee of the American Committee for Relief of Russian Children which, for two years, and until recently in cooperation with the Nansen Relief Mission, has been doing non-sectarian and non-political relief work among Russian children. The American Committee is now working through the Union International de Secours aux Enfants, of Geneva, under the auspices of the International Red Cross. It maintains feeding stations and one hospital for children only in the Ukraine, where over half of the children cared for are Jewish. Israel Zangwill and Rabbi Max Heller of New Orleans are among the recent contributors to the work of the American Committee.
