Collections in New York’s churches and synagogues as part of the United Hospital Fund’s effort to raise $500,000 for hospital aid were scheduled for yesterday and today.
According to S. G. Rosenbaum and J. McV. Breed, chairmen of the collection committee, the funds will go toward free care during the coming year in the fifty-six member institutions. The present drive marks the fifty-fifth annual consecutive effort. Last year $17,795 was raised.
