With a goal of $400,000 before them, 700 workers are canvassing every section of the city for the annual Jewish National Welfare Fund drive which opened Monday and will continue to April 27.
The campaign opened with a mass meeting held at the Tivoli Theater, which was featured by the appearance of May Robson and George O’Brien, who came especially for the occasion.
