Druze tribesmen, now being formed into a unit in the Israeli Army, have participated in the first Hebrew folk-dance and song festival organized by the Army at a large training camp “somewhere in Israel,” it was reported here today.

The Druze dancers were received with tremendous enthusiasm by the 5,000 soldiers and women auxiliaries who viewed the performance. The program was presented to acquaint the tribesmen with the rich Jewish folk-lore and tradition.

More than 400 Arab workers in Nazareth today expressed a wish to join the Arab branch of the Jewish Labor Federation.
