A delegation of Druze religious and civic leaders this week-end visited Rabbi Judah L. Fishman, Minister for Religion, and urged that the Druze religious court’s jurisdiction be officially recognized in their communities.

The Israeli Government today granted complete tax exemption to relief supplies distributed by the Red Cross in Israeli territory as well as the $30,000,000 of U.N. relief to be distributed in Palestine. The government will also provide free storage space, reduced transportation rates and will furnish drivers for relief goods passing through Israel.
