Duca Succeeds Bratianu As Head of Roumanian Liberals

I. G. Duca, who at various times was minister of agriculture, education and foreign affairs in Liberal cabinets, was today named head of the Liberal party to succeed Vintila Bratianu, the former chieftain of the party who died yesterday.

At a special session of Parliament today to pay tribute to the deceased former premier, the Jewish deputies and senators associated themselves with the tribute. In the chamber of deputies Joseph Fischer spoke for the Jewish population and Senator Meyer Ebner did the same in the senate.
