Lieutenant-Colonel Theodore Dusterberg was released from a concentration camp on August 2, it was ascertained today by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. Since that time he has been free, it was revealed in the Tribune of Geneva, in which he makes the following statement:
“I was not killed, but I am a living corpse as a result of having been committed to a concentration camp’s military jail on some silly suspicion in connection with Roehm.”
A report in Monday’s New York Post said Dusterberg had been slain during the June 30th purge.
