The Netherlands Foreign Minister, Norbert Schmelzer, said today that the Dutch Embassy in Moscow does whatever It can to assist Soviet Jews who want to emigrate to Israel and that so far it has encountered no administrative difficulties of any kind. Holland has represented Israel’s interests in the USSR since Moscow severed diplomatic relations with Israel during the Six-Day War. Schmelzer made his remarks at a press conference here marking the end of his official visit to Israel.
