A delegation which included Chief Rabbi H. Tal and representatives of the Dutch Zionist Organization visited the U.S. Embassy in the Hogue today protesting the U.S. proposal to place Palestine under a trusteeship.
The Jewish Coordination Committee and the Jewish Religious Council informed the U.S. Embassy that Dutch Jews were “utterly horrified” at the new U.S. policy. All Dutch political arties and newspapers have criticized the U.S. reversal, while prominent Protestant ministers are considering issuing a joint statement protesting the American stand.
