The Dutch Senate approved today by a vote of 43 to 18 the Dutch-West German treaty providing 125,000,000 deutschmarks ($31,200,000) to compensate Dutch victims of the Nazi era. The Senate acted after rejecting a Socialist plea for a bid for more indemnification.
