Additional details of last month’s demonstrations in Amsterdam in protest against Nazi anti-Jewish measures were given here today by an eyewitness.

Thousands of Dutch men and women thronged the streets when they learned Jews had been rounded up and were to be imprisoned. The main streets and those leading to the prisons were so crowded that the police vans were unable to proceed to their destinations. The demonstrators sang patriotic songs and hymns praising liberty and resistance to oppression.
