Foreign Minister Abba Eban refused today to reply to a parliamentary question regarding reported talks between Israeli and Soviet diplomats. Nor did he comment on a question about the Soviet position regarding a Middle East settlement had softened. However, Mr. Eban added that the Soviet Union had so far said or done nothing that could dispel Israel’s mistrust in her.
