Eddie Cantor was today awarded the 1948 “Citation for Humanitarianism” of the United Jewish Appeal. Samuel Goldwyn, prominent screen producer and president of the U.J.A. drive in this city, presented the award to Mr. Cantor during a nation-wide U.J.A. broadcast.
