Constantine Grauer and Samuil Labin, editors respectively of the leading Rumanian newspapers Adverul and Diminatea, have sold their shares in the enterprises and left the country, it was disclosed today, following attempts to assassinate them because they are of Jewish origin.

Both papers had been assailed frequently by right-wing newspapers. Adverul published a notice tonight that despite the change in management the papers would continue to defend the ideals of democracy, liberty and constitutional monarchy.
