Educators to Meet to Consider Youth Relation to Zionist Movement

Leading Jewish educators and #uth leaders will meet at the Young #en’s Hebrew Association in New York City on Sunday and Monday, February 12th and 13th, to consider a program of youth education and organization in relation to the Zionist movement, according to an announcement issued by Morris Rothenberg, President of the Zionist Organization of America.

The meeting will mark the first assembly of the Commission on Youth and Education that was formed under the auspices of the Zionist Organization as a result of a resolution adopted at the last Zionist Convention.

In announcing the program of the conference and its aims in stimulating the formation of Zionist youth groups in America and advancing a knowledge of Palestine upbuilding and its spiritual and cultural significance among Jewish youth groups in the country, Mr. Rothenberg emphasized that the Commission is planning a comprehensive study of a rather difficult subject that will require time and patience.

Among the educators and youth leaders who will lead in the discussion at the Conference are Chaim Tchernowitz, Abraham Goldberg, Alter Landesman. Dr. Stephen S. Wise, Rabbi Israel Goldstein, Dr. Louis I. Newman. Israel Chipkin, James Waterman Wise of New York; Rabbi Simon Greenberg of Philadelphia; Dr. Emanuel Gamoran and Dr. Jacob Golub of Cincinatti; A. H. Fricdland, Cleveland; Dr. A. M. Dushkin and Dr. Leo Honor of Chicago.
