Edwin Samuel has been appointed District Commissioner of Nazareth, which includes supervision of the entire Emek.
Mr. Samuel’s position of Assistant District Commissioner for Jerusalem will be filled by another Jew, it is learned. He is the son of Herbert Samuel, first High Commissioner for Palestine.
