A group of Palestinian liaison officers arrived in Jenin to continue efforts at coordinating with Israel the handover of control over the West Bank town to the Palestinian Authority.
The Israeli withdrawal from Jenin, which began Oct. 25, is scheduled to be completed by Nov. 19.
Crowds of Palestinians cheered the arriving officers, who raised a Palestinian flag at the local police station.
