Egypt and Israel Condemned by Armistice Body for Incidents

The Israel-Egyptian Mixed Armistice Commission yesterday condemned Egypt for two separate incidents involving firing on Israeli patrols in the Kissufim area, near the Gaza strip border. At the same time, the MAC held Israel responsible for allegedly firing on Egyptian military posts.

The Israel-Jordan MAC, which Israel is boycotting, yesterday condemned Israel for allegedly shelling and machine gunning the Jordan village of Nazlat Isa, in the Tulkarem area. The Israelis afterwards stated that during the week-end an Israeli unit on maneuvers opposite the Jordan village was fired on by the Arabs. The Israelis replied.
