Egypt and Jordan agreed to return their ambassadors to Israel, but did not say when. The decision was announced Tuesday after Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas declared an end to Israeli-Palestinian violence at a summit Tuesday in Egypt. However, Israeli officials, who had expected the ambassadors to be returned immediately, were disappointed that no time-frame was given to implement the decision.
