The Israel Postal Service declared today that Egypt seized a consignment of airmail posted from Israel to East African countries.
According to the postal service, officials at a European airport loaded the mail consignment by error on a plane which stops at Cairo, where Egyptian officials impounded the mail. It had been posted to Rhodesia, Kenya, Uganda and Tanganyika.
