The Egyptian Government has informed the French Foreign Office that any arms transaction arising from Premier Eshkol’s visit to France may upset “normalization” of French-Arab relations, it was reported here today.
According to earlier reports, the French Government firmly rejected similar expressions which Arab envoys tried to voice to the French Foreign office on the Eshkol visit.
