The group of Egyptian educators visiting here were the guests of the Zionist Executive in Jerusalem at a banquet given Saturday night.
The speakers at the banquet were Mr. Azaryan on behalf of the Hebrew Board of Education, Mr. Bhachyu for the Palestine Hebrew Teachers, Mr. Bowman, director of the Governmental Educational Department, Col. Frederick H. Kisch, Dr. Weizmann, Rashid Bey and the Egyptian Constal in Jerusalem.
A testimonial dinner in honor of Benjamin Winter, President and Charles Green, First Vice-President of the Federation of Polish Jews of America, was held in the Grand Ballroom of the Pennsylvania Hotel, New York, Saturday evening.
Among the speakers, besides the guests of honor, were Louis Lipsky, Emanuel Neumann, J. George Silberstein, Dr. William Sirovitch, Joseph Barondess and Z. Tygel. Dr. Joseph I. Steinberg was toastmaster.
