Egyptian officials are angry at the United States because of a column that appeared in The New York Times, according to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz. The column by Thomas Friedman accused Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak of doing nothing to help President Clinton reach an agreement at the recent Camp David summit.
