The German Ambassador to Cairo was called into Egyptian Premier Mohammed Naguib’s office yesterday and asked whether the Bonn Government intends to go ahead with the ratification of the German-Israel reparations pact despite Arab protests, the London Times reported today from the Egyptian capital.
The report added that Premier Naguib summoned German Ambassador W. Pawelke just before the Arab League political committee began meeting here for a discussion of the reparations agreement. Premier Naguib presided at the political committee session, which was called at Egypt’s request.
