With the cover adorned with pictures of pin-up girls, bathing beauties and the smiling faces of Egyptian royalty, the Egyptian Legation here is offering a propaganda booklet of “Jewish Atrocities in the Holy Land” to the entire diplomatic corps. It is apparently timed to coincide with the opening of debate in the United Nations General Assembly on Palestine issues.
The 20-page pamphlet asserts that during the recent Arab-Israel war in Palestine the Jews committed brutal massacres and isolated atrocities which in modern times have been paralleled only by the actions of the Nazis at the Belsen and Dachau concentration camps. In addition, the Egyptians allege, “Holy Places were destroyed.”
