Two Egyptian arms-purchasing groups are in Switzerland now in search of munitions, it was disclosed here today by reliable sources. The two groups are now visiting Thun and Winterthur–two Swiss arms centers.
The Egyptians, it was reported, arrived here ostensibly as part of the Egyptian delegation to the International Labor Organization office, but quickly went off to various Swiss industrial cities to make bids for guns. The sources for the report asserted that the so-called representatives “have nothing to do with the International Labor Organization conference at all, even though they make such claims.”
