Ehud Barak postponed his working visit to the United States.
The Israeli defense minister was scheduled to fly out to Washington late Monday for three days of talks on Iran and other regional issue, but canceled. Aides said he was needed in Israel for the upcoming prisoner exchange with Hezbollah, which required final Cabinet approval Tuesday.
Barak will likely reschedule his U.S. visit for early August, aides said.
