Viennese officials announced today that trials of two former aides of Adolf Eichmann will start here this month on war crimes charges.
Franz Nowak, charged with participating in the slaughter of Hungarian Jews as an aide to Eichmann, will go on trial on November 16. Erich Rajakovich, another former member of the Eichmann staff, charged with participation in the slaughter of Dutch and Belgian Jews, will go on trial on November 28. Both proceedings are expected to last several weeks.
