The Health Ministry confirmed today eight more of the nearly 100 suspected Gaza Strip cholera cases reported yesterday, and in addition reported 12 new cases. Forty-three of the nearly 100 suspected cases were confirmed yesterday. Authorities are trying to prevent fruits and vegetables from the Strip from entering Israel proper, and are continuing to check both them and water sources throughout the country, especially in the Jerusalem area, for cholera germs.
