A bust of Professor Albert Einstein, sculptured by Jacob Epstein, has been presented by Hiram J. Halle of New York to the Einstein Institute of ##, the Hebrew University L. Jerusalem, in connection with the celebration of the ninth anniversary of the university, it was announced here yesterday by Dr. A. S. W. Rosenbach, president of the American Friends of the Hebrew University.
Dr. Chaim Weizmann made the presentation on behalf of Mr. Halle. Dr. Judah L. Magnes, chancellor of the university, accepted the bust. He announced that the institution’s library possesses the original manuscript of Einstein’s “Theory of Relativity,” the gift of the scientist, during the presentation.
