A $60, 000 laboratory for basic research on the heart and blood circulation, made possible by a grant from the Jack Kriendler Foundation, was dedicated yesterday in the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. Dr. Marcus D. Kogel, dean of the college, said the new laboratory contains such research innovations as electronic measuring devices and special protective units to protect researchers from radioactive fumes. The laboratory was built in memory of Jack Kriendler, a noted restaurateur who died of a heart attack in 1947 at the age of 48.
