The formation of the Albert Einstein Foundation for Higher Learning whose aim is the establishment of a Jewish-sponsored secular university, was announced today by Dr. Israel Goldstein, president of the Foundation.
The university, which will be open to students and faculty of all races, creeds and religious beliefs, is scheduled to open in October 1947, the announcement said. A campus and some physical facilities have already been acquired at Waltham, Mass., where the institution will be located.
