Professor Albert Einstein believes that the reconstruction of Palestine as a Jewish National Home is one of the most important problems facing the Jews of the world today. The noted scientist who is now at Princeton, N. J., where he will lecture in the Institute for Advanced Study, is concerned, however, that too great a stream of immigration may lead to an economic crisis. He therefore urges that other suitable areas of colonization be taken into consideration for settlement by Jewish refugees from Germany.
In an exclusive interview with the Jewish Telegraphic Agency on the occasion of his departure for this country from England, Professor Einstein discussed the refugee problem and expressed his gratitude to the countries which have given these homeless people shelter.
