The first anniversary of Israel was celebrated by the Jewish community of Eire at a youth Jamboree and a Jewi3h National Fund banquet addressed by Irish Chief Rabbi Dr. Emanuel Jacobovitz Aaron Wright, president of the J.N.F. of Great Britain and Ireland, and S. Silverman, Laborite M.P.
Guests at the banquet pledged to plant 3,500 trees on Keren Kayemeth land. The celebrations of the Jewish state’s anniversary will be climaxed tonight at a function to be held at the official residence of the mayor of Dublin.
